LED backlit USB gaming keyboard with splash-proof design
After trying many a gaming keyboard, the Cerberus Gaming Keyboard is one of the best in terms of build quality. Now, we’re talking about the standard keys, not the expensive high end CherryMX Mechanical keys. The Cerberus is solid, with a steel plate at it’s core holding all the sensors in place and acting as a spine. Clad over it is solid plastic. The keys feel good, silent with a bit of a rubbery impact.Asus claims that the keyboard is splashproof, and we did put that to the test, tipping over a full glass of water on to it. The liquid drained out easily through the drain holes and we were able to use the keyboard like nothing happened. While it worked fine with water, hot tea or milk could make things sticky, though we feel the line “take a licking and keep on tickin” would be apt here. The splashproof design is a fantastic feature, that should be in every keyboard. Considering in the heat of the battle, anything can happen.
